1. Representational Use Only
1.1. AVOL™ outputs are provided solely as neutral value representations generated under a declared evaluation context and in accordance with the AVOL™ Evaluation Contract and related governing specifications.
1.2. AVOL outputs express quantified value components only. They do not constitute advice, guidance, recommendations, predictions, assurances, or determinations of suitability, desirability, or optimality.
2. No Decision Reliance
No party may reasonably rely on an AVOL output as:
2.1. a recommendation or endorsement of any option,
2.2. a directive to select, avoid, or prioritize any option, or
2.3. a guarantee of outcome, benefit realization, savings, or performance.
All decisions, actions, selections, rankings, or recommendations made using or informed by AVOL outputs are the sole responsibility of the downstream system, integrator, or user.
3. No Suitability or Completeness Representation
AVOL outputs are intentionally partial representations limited to declared, quantifiable components and do not purport to capture total, holistic, or qualitative value. AVOL makes no representation or warranty – express, implied, or statutory – regarding:
3.1. completeness of value representation,
3.2. relevance to any particular user, objective, or circumstance,
3.3. fitness for a particular purpose, or
3.4. accuracy with respect to non-quantified, qualitative, probabilistic, or external factors.
AVOL outputs do not purport to represent total value, user-specific value, or all factors relevant to a decision.
4. Downstream Responsibility and Attribution
4.1. Any interpretation, transformation, ranking, optimization, personalization, or recommendation derived from AVOL outputs is external to AVOL and not attributable to AVOL, regardless of whether AVOL outputs are used as inputs to such processes.
4.2. Downstream use of AVOL outputs does not expand, modify, or retroactively redefine the meaning or responsibility of the canonical AVOL output.
5. Semantic Finality
The semantic meaning of an AVOL output is fixed at the moment of emission. No downstream behavior, system output, or decision outcome may be used to imply intent, judgment, or responsibility on the part of AVOL.
6. Governing Priority
This clause is governed by and must be interpreted consistently with the Canonical Definition & Scope Statement, Declared Evaluation Context, AVOL™ Evaluation Contract, AVOL™ Output Semantics Specification, and the Canonical vs. Derived Outputs Doctrine. In the event of ambiguity, those documents control.
